日本瑞翁和住友化學組建S-SBR合資公司

　　據(jù)悉，日本瑞翁公司和住友化學公司周五（12月2日）宣布，雙方正在推進合并各自的溶聚丁苯橡膠（S-SBR)組建一家合資公司的計劃。這家命名為ZS Elastomers的合資公司將在2017年4月1日正式成立，其中瑞翁公司持有60%股權(quán)，住友化學持有40%股權(quán)。ZS Elastomers公司的合計S-SBR產(chǎn)能為17.3萬噸/年，其中包括瑞翁公司12.5萬噸/年的產(chǎn)能和住友化學4.8萬噸/年的產(chǎn)能。

　　S-SBR主要用于節(jié)油輪胎。兩家公司表示，由于生產(chǎn)商們新增產(chǎn)能，全球S-SBR市場的競爭正在加劇。競爭者包括朗盛和沙特阿美的合資公司Arlanxeo、旭化成、日本合成橡膠公司和Trinseo。

　　住友化學擁有兩套S-SBR裝置，其中一套是位于日本千葉的8000噸/年裝置，另一套是位于新加坡的一套4萬噸/年的裝置。日本瑞翁公司也擁有兩套裝置，其中一套是位于日本德山的5.5萬噸/年的裝置，另一套是位于新加坡的裝置，設(shè)計年產(chǎn)7萬噸S-SBR。

　　Zeon and Sumitomo Chemical announced Friday they are proceeding with plans to combine their solution-styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) operations into a joint venture (JV). The JV, ZS Elastomers, will be owned 60% by Zeon and 40% by Sumitomo and commence operations on 1 April 2017. Zeon is contributing 125,000 metric tons/year and Sumitomo Chemical 48,000 metric ton/year of capacity, giving ZS Elastomers a combined 173,000 metric tons/year.

　　S-SBR is used mainly in fuel-efficient tires. The companies say the competition in this market is intensifying as producers add capacity. Competitors include Arlanxeo, a JV between Lanxess and Saudi Aramco; Asahi Kasei; JSR; and Trinseo.

　　Sumitomo owns two S-SBR plants: an 8,000–metric tons/year facility at Chiba, Japan; and a 40,000–metric tons/year plant in Singapore. Zeon also owns two plants, one at Tokuyama, Japan, with capacity for 55,000 metric tons/year; and one in Singapore, designed to produce 70,000 metric tons/year.
