雪佛龍合資企業(yè)與亞洲煉油企業(yè)達(dá)成大合同

據(jù)全球能源新聞3月25日休斯頓報(bào)道，美國(guó)著名油田服務(wù)公司麥克德莫特國(guó)際公司(MDR)日前通知其旗下的雪佛龍Lummus Global 公司(CLG)——麥克德莫特國(guó)際公司與雪佛龍公司的合資企業(yè)——已經(jīng)獲得了東南亞一個(gè)煉油廠的一份相當(dāng)大的合同。

這份合同是為其在東南亞建造的第二類潤(rùn)滑油基礎(chǔ)油項(xiàng)目提供專用催化劑和設(shè)備的許可證、工程和供應(yīng)。麥克德莫特國(guó)際公司將大額合同定義為100萬(wàn)美元到5000萬(wàn)美元之間。

新的5200桶/天的裝置將采用CLG最先進(jìn)的用于高級(jí)潤(rùn)滑油基礎(chǔ)油生產(chǎn)的潤(rùn)滑油基礎(chǔ)油技術(shù)。目前，這個(gè)東南亞煉油廠只生產(chǎn)第一類潤(rùn)滑油基礎(chǔ)油，而這個(gè)項(xiàng)目將使他們能夠滿足所在地區(qū)對(duì)優(yōu)質(zhì)潤(rùn)滑油基礎(chǔ)油日益增長(zhǎng)的需求。

Chevron Lummus Global Lands 'Sizeable' Deal with Asian Refiner

Oilfield services firm McDermott International (MDR) has informed that its Chevron (CVX) Lummus Global (CLG), McDermott's joint venture with Chevron, has been awarded a sizeable contract by a Southeast Asian refiner.

The contract is for for the license, engineering, and supply of proprietary catalyst and equipment for its Lubricant Base Oil Group II Project to be built in Southeast Asia. McDermott defines a sizeable contract as between USD $1 million and USD $50 million.

The new 5,200-barrels-per-day unit will employ CLG's state-of-the-art lubricant base oil technologies for premium lube base oil production. Currently, the refinery produces only Group I lube base oils, and this project will allow them to meet growing regional demand for premium lubricant base oils.

"The lubricant base oil technology that we license through Chevron Lummus Global has helped our customers produce greater yields and better quality base oils, which was an important factor in the selection process of this project," said Leon de Bruyn, Senior Vice President of McDermott's Lummus Technology business.

"With the recent award of several new projects in the region, CLG cherishes solid, long-standing relationships with refiners in the Asia Pacific region."
