ICIS全球石化指數(shù)3月創(chuàng)2009年4月來新低

據(jù)ICIS網(wǎng)站4月3日倫敦報(bào)道 因油價(jià)暴跌和疫情影響打擊了化學(xué)品和聚合物市場(chǎng)，ICIS全球石化指數(shù)（IPEX）上個(gè)月跌至2009年4月以來的最低水平。

該指數(shù)在東北亞表現(xiàn)最為疲軟，用于編制該指數(shù)的平均現(xiàn)貨市場(chǎng)價(jià)格對(duì)負(fù)面市場(chǎng)環(huán)境的反應(yīng)最為顯著。

ICIS global petrochemical index (IPEX) for March hits level not seen since April 2009

The ICIS global petrochemical index (global IPEX) fell to its lowest level last month since April 2009 as the plunging oil price and coronavirus lockdowns hit chemicals and polymer markets.

The index was weakest in northeast Asia where the average spot market prices that are used to compile the index reacted most significantly to the negative market environment.

The impact of lower crude values and Covid-19 were less pronounced on the March contracts agreed for northwest Europe and the US. There some steep falls in individual contract prices, nevertheless.

In the US, the March ethylene contract price was agreed on Thursday (2 April) at its lowest level in 18 years.
