美國墨西哥灣下一輪租賃銷售計劃于11月進行

據(jù)離岸工程網(wǎng)站7月17日消息 作為其2017-2022年海上石油和天然氣租賃計劃的一部分，美國政府計劃在2020年11月舉行全區(qū)域的墨西哥灣租賃銷售。

租賃銷售原本預(yù)計在8月舉行，但由于油氣市場低迷，現(xiàn)在已延期。

約7880萬英畝土地將作為256租賃出售的一部分出售，計劃從新奧爾良現(xiàn)場直播。

這將是2017-2022年外大陸架油氣租賃計劃下的第七次離岸銷售。

256租賃出售將包括約14755個未出租區(qū)塊，包括所有墨西哥灣聯(lián)邦水域的可用未出租區(qū)域。

博姆墨西哥灣地區(qū)主任邁克·塞拉塔說：“墨西哥灣為我們國家的能源組合提供了一個基礎(chǔ)性的角色，作為世界上產(chǎn)量最高的盆地之一，其資源的開發(fā)對我國的能源安全至關(guān)重要。”

Next U.S. Gulf of Mexico Lease Sale Planned for November

As part of its 2017-2022 offshore oil and gas leasing program, the U.S. administration plans to hold a "region-wide" Gulf of Mexico lease sale in November 2020.

The lease sale was originally expected to be held in August but due to the oil and gas market downturn, it has now been pushed for the fall.

Approximately 78.8 million acres will be offered as part of the Lease Sale 256, scheduled to be live-streamed from New Orleans.

This will be the seventh offshore sale under the 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program.

Lease Sale 256 will include approximately 14,755 unleased blocks -- all of the available unleased areas in federal waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

“The Gulf of Mexico provides a fundamental role for our nation’s energy portfolio,” said Mike Celata, Director of BOEM’s Gulf of Mexico Region. “As one of the most productive basins in the world, the development of its resources is essential to our nation’s energy security.”
